Reconnect the negative terminal, then ensure all doors are unlocked, and attempt to open the liftgate using one of the switches. If it still doesn't work, open the liftgate manually from the inside, then close it, and try again. If that doesn't work either, it should be brought to the dealer. Last edited: Feb 6, 2020.The 3 beeps indicate that the doors are locked. Make sure vehicle is in park and you unlock the doors, then hit the lift gate button. Problem resolved , it was the power liftgate module issue. Happened to me the other day as well. I can’t remember if the issue was I needed to put it in park or hit the unlock, but it was something simple like ....
